Geyse da Silva leads the Liga Femenil BBVA Apertura 2026 scoring table with 16 goals in the October 13 snapshot. Atlético de San Luis forward Enyerliannys Higuera has 13, while Toluca’s Eugénie Le Sommer has nine. The América attacker holds a three-goal advantage over her closest challenger.

The total answers who has scored most. Minutes played add another perspective: the official table lists 816 for Geyse, 861 for Higuera and 794 for Le Sommer. Dividing goals by minutes and multiplying by 90 gives approximately 1.76, 1.36 and 1.02 goals per 90 minutes respectively.

Two measures, different questions

Player Club Goals Minutes Goals/90
Geyse América 16 816 1.76
Higuera Atlético de San Luis 13 861 1.36
Le Sommer Toluca 9 794 1.02

The per-90 figures are Evovo calculations from league data, not forecasts. They do not adjust for penalties, opponent strength or chances created. Their purpose is to relate output to playing time, not independently decide which player has performed best.

How to follow the chase

A three-goal gap means Higuera must make up that difference to reach the leader’s current total. If Geyse scores again, the target changes. Keeping that distinction clear avoids calculating a challenger’s task as if the top of the table were frozen.

Other players can still change the order. The scoring table tracks accumulated goals, while match records help distinguish a recent run from the full tournament. Do not combine different competition phases or add international goals to a domestic-league total.

Evovo’s Liga Femenil center updates the available scoring podium and standings. This article preserves its dated snapshot and calculations so the comparison remains checkable; later matches can change the current totals. Reading volume and playing time together gives the race more context without pretending a small collection of statistics captures everything an attacker contributes.

Team context matters as well. A forward may receive more opportunities when her club controls matches. Without comparable shot and chance data, goals per 90 cannot separate individual finishing from collective creation. That is why the table keeps the player’s club and minutes visible instead of presenting a single number as a complete ranking.
