Cookies and Local Storage
An explanation of the technologies evovo uses to operate, remember preferences, and protect browsing.
Updated on
A cookie is a small file that a browser can send to the site that created it. Local and session storage save information in the browser and work differently. Both can be used to remember preferences; not all of these technologies are for advertising.
evovo Preferences and Features
- RubyDarkMode · Local storage
- Remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. It has no fixed expiration in the theme’s code: it remains until you replace it or delete the site data.
- RBUUID · Local storage
- A random identifier created by the Foxiz theme for its visitor features. It does not contain your name or email address. The theme’s content personalization is disabled in the current settings, although its code may create this identifier. It remains until you delete the site data.
- rubyResizerStep · Session storage
- The theme may use it when the reading size is changed. It lasts for the tab session. Not all pages display that control.
Cloudflare Protection
Cloudflare distributes content and protects access to the portal. When a security check is applied, it may use a cookie such as cf_clearance to remember that the browser passed it. It is not present on every visit; its duration depends on the check and the service settings.
The provider documents these technologies and their terms in Cloudflare Cookies. Technical and service statistics are used to understand traffic, errors, and performance; the fact that a tool does not use cookies does not mean it does not process technical data.
Administration Sessions
People who access the administration area with an authorized account may receive WordPress cookies for authentication, cookie checks, and editor preferences. These are not a public record of readers and are not needed to read news without signing in.
Advertising and External Services
In the settings reviewed, we have not enabled personalized advertising cookies or Google Analytics. External links and third-party content, if included in an article, may be subject to other policies. You should not consider this page a description of all the sites linked from evovo.
How to Manage This in Your Browser
- Open your browser’s privacy settings and look for cookies or website data.
- Find evovo.net to delete its cookies and storage. You will lose saved preferences, such as dark mode; the theme may create operational data again on a later visit.
- If you want to prevent this data from being stored continuously, use your browser’s blocking controls. Some features or security checks may stop working.
- Deleting local data is not the same as deleting server access logs. To learn about that processing, see the privacy notice.
