Controller and Scope
The owner of evovo.net, identified in About evovo, is responsible for processing personal data associated with the portal. This notice describes how it operates as of the stated update date. It does not cover external sites we link to.
Privacy email: [email protected]. Include only the information needed to identify your inquiry.
Information That May Be Processed
- Technical browsing data: IP address, date and time of access, pages and resources requested, terms entered in a search, browser, operating system, referring page when transmitted, and error or security event logs.
- Browser preferences: light or dark mode and technical storage of the theme, described in the cookie and local storage policy.
- Site administration: authorized accounts may generate session data and activity logs to protect and maintain the portal. There is no open account registration for readers.
There are currently no public contact forms, comments, or newsletter sign-ups. We do not request sensitive personal or financial data, passwords, identity documents, or precise location data to read the news. Your IP address may indicate an approximate location; this is not the same as a GPS request.
How the Information Is Used
Technical data is used to deliver pages and their resources, maintain security, detect abuse or failures, retain reading preferences, and assess availability and performance. Search terms are used to display results and may be included in technical request logs.
In the current configuration, we have not enabled personalized ads, the sale of reader data, or email campaigns. If optional purposes or new collection mechanisms are added, this notice must be updated, and the applicable options will be offered or consent will be obtained before they are used.
Services Involved
The portal’s hosting, backups, and Cloudflare protection and delivery services may process technical data needed to operate the site. Cloudflare receives requests before forwarding them to the server and may perform security checks. These providers may operate infrastructure outside Mexico, including in the United States.
You can consult the Cloudflare privacy policy. No transfers for selling data or personalized advertising are contemplated. Disclosures to authorities or third parties due to a legal obligation will be limited to applicable cases and requirements.
When you follow a link to another site, that third party applies its own terms and technologies. If an article incorporates external content, its provider may receive your IP address and browser data when it loads; you can use your browser’s privacy controls to limit third-party connections.
Retention and Protection
Ordinary server access logs are rotated daily and retain up to 14 historical files; the effective retention period depends on whether there has been activity. Security and administration logs and backup copies may follow different cycles and be retained when needed to investigate incidents or meet legal obligations. They are not used as a subscriber list.
The portal uses an encrypted connection, access controls, updates, and backups. No system offers absolute security. Local preferences remain in your browser as explained in the cookie policy, and you can delete them in your settings.
Your Rights and Options
You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or objection to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), as well as withdraw consent or limit its use where applicable. A request must identify the person concerned, indicate a means of response, explain what is being requested, and provide information to locate the data. Identity or representation must be verified by an appropriate means; avoid sending complete documents unless instructed to do so.
Email for privacy communications: [email protected]. Put “Privacy” in the subject line and describe your request. Also consult the information under Contact.
You can delete evovo.net cookies and local storage from your browser, limit third-party cookies, and avoid entering personal information in the search engine. These actions do not, by themselves, delete server logs. There are currently no site newsletters or campaigns to unsubscribe from.
Minors
Reading does not require you to declare your age or create an account. We do not offer forms intended to collect data from minors. We recommend not entering full names, school, phone number, documents, or other personal information in searches or on linked third-party services.
Changes to This Notice
Changes will be published at this same address with their update date. A change in purpose will not be considered authorized solely because this page has been updated; notice will be provided and consent obtained when necessary. The applicable legal reference is the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
