PlayStation announced nine additions to the PS Plus catalog for October 2026: seven for Extra and Premium, and two additional games for Premium. Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West’s return, and Mycopunk lead a lineup whose general schedule points to 20 in October, although some games have different dates depending on the market. Access is part of the paid subscription.
The announced games
For PS5, Extra and Premium will add Mafia: The Old Country, Mycopunk, The Midnight Walk, and Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game. The list is rounded out by Horizon Forbidden West, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, and Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, all three with PS4 and PS5 versions.
Mycopunk will join the catalog on its worldwide release day, 20 in October. It is a mission-based shooter with co-op for four players, starring robots fighting a fungal threat. Horizon Forbidden West, meanwhile, returns to the service with Aloy’s adventure in a world dominated by machines.
The two additions announced for Premium are Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, both for PS4 and PS5: one offering action against dinosaurs and the other focused on building and managing amusement parks.
Dates are not the same in every market
The official schedule moves The Midnight Walk up to 14 in October in the United States and United Kingdom, and to 15 in Japan. In those three countries, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, and Monster Energy Supercross 25 will arrive on 27 in October.
For those who play in Mexico, these exceptions should not be taken as local dates. PlayStation warns that the Extra and Premium/Deluxe catalogs may vary by region and recommends checking PlayStation Store on launch day to confirm the available lineup.
