Xbox introduced the Nano Controller, a compact controller designed for small hands and for those looking for an easy-to-carry accessory. The company announced that it will be available starting in November in several countries, including Mexico, and opened preorders this 14 of October at a reference price of 49.99 dollars.
Its size is its main difference: it measures just over five inches long—about 12.7 centimeters—and weighs 3.5 ounces, about 99 grams. Xbox describes it as its smallest controller. Even with its reduced size, it retains the 18 standard gaming inputs and a familiar layout for those who already use its controllers.
It also includes a rechargeable battery and a programmable action button, which lets users assign functions such as taking screenshots, recording gameplay, or accessing frequently used shortcuts. To connect to compatible devices, it features Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth.
For Mexico, the announcement confirms a November launch window. The 49.99 dollars should not be interpreted as a local price: Xbox clarifies that both the price and availability vary by country and directs customers to each market’s Microsoft Store or authorized retailers to check the terms.
