Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will open early access to its campaign on 16 of October 2026, one week before the full launch on October 23. Those who pre-order the Standard or Vault digital editions will be able to start the story before the multiplayer arrives.
The campaign centers on a fictional war on the Korean Peninsula. The story will follow a group of young South Korean soldiers trying to survive on the front lines and Captain Price, whose personal mission will ultimately intersect with the forces behind the invasion.
For PC, NVIDIA confirmed the integration of DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and optional ray-traced reflections. GeForce RTX 40 cards will be able to use Frame Generation, while RTX 50 cards will have access to Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. NVIDIA Reflex will also be supported on GeForce RTX systems.
NVIDIA presents these technologies as tools to improve the game’s smoothness, image quality, and responsiveness; its announcements do not amount to an independent performance test. The available features will depend on the graphics card being used.
The schedule distinguishes early access to the story from the full release: October 23 will be the launch date for the package that includes the campaign, multiplayer, and DMZ. NVIDIA warns that the start of early access and availability by platform are subject to change.
