Mexico will make its debut against Spain at the U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco on Monday, 19 October, at 09:00, Mexico City time. The match will open the group stage for Mexico’s national team and can be watched on TUDN and ViX Premium.

The venue will be the Mohammed VI Football Complex. The matchup brings together the national teams that contested the final in this age group in 2018, when Spain claimed the title and Mexico finished as runner-up in Uruguay.

How to watch the debut from Mexico

To plan your Monday morning, the key time is the 09:00 start in Mexico City: TUDN will be available on television, and ViX Premium will offer streaming. Both broadcasts have been announced for the match against Spain.

Chile and Australia complete the schedule

After the opener, Mexico will face Chile on Thursday, 22 October, at 12:00, and wrap up the group stage against Australia on Sunday, 25, at 09:00. Both times are also Mexico City time, so the tournament’s first stage will pack all three of Mexico’s matches into one week.

The 2018 meeting provides special context for the debut, although this is a new generation of players. That final marked Mexico’s best performance at a U-17 Women’s World Cup; now, the national team’s first step in Morocco will be to face the same opponent it met in that title match.
