PEAK is coming to PlayStation 5 on 22 October 2026 with cross-play, so players will be able to climb with friends on other platforms. Team Peak, the collaboration between Aggro Crab and Landfall, confirmed that this version will include all the content updates, biomes, and items released since the original launch.
The adventure can be played solo or in a group of up to four people. The protagonists are explorers stranded on a mysterious island whose only hope of rescue is to reach the summit of the mountain at its center. Finding a route is not enough: they also have to stick together and help those who fall behind.
Climbing combines obstacles with resource management. Players must search for food and tend to injuries, because every setback reduces their available stamina and makes it harder to keep climbing. The team describes dangers including tornadoes, poisonous clouds, birds, and zombies.
Groups will also be able to customize their games to make the journey easier or more challenging. This option lets them tailor the challenge to the team and, for those who’d rather make getting along harder, enable the ability to kick their teammates. Cross-play will be available at launch on PS5, without requiring the whole group to meet on the same platform.
