Adolfo “Bofo” Bautista expressed his desire to return to Chivas as head coach and help the team win championships. The former forward presented this possibility as a future goal, not as an appointment or a place on Guadalajara’s coaching staff.
His connection with the club is the reason for this aspiration. Bautista explained that he does not believe there is any debt between him and the club: his intention to return comes from his affection for the red-and-white colors and his hope of contributing from the sidelines now.
A possible return is not the only matter Bofo has pending with Chivas. He also recalled that he is still waiting for a tribute match with the club, a farewell that had been considered but never took place.
