Xbox announced the upcoming additions to Game Pass, led by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: it will arrive on October 29 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming through Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. The lineup also includes horror adventures and day-one releases, although not all of them will be included in the same plans.
Intergrade picks up the story of Final Fantasy VII through the escape from Midgar, with a combat system that combines real-time action and strategic commands. Its addition to the service will make this installment available with the three announced plans; Essential is not among them.
What’s coming and with which subscription
The schedule begins on October 21 with Sandustry, an early-access mining and automation game for PC that will be available through Premium, in addition to Ultimate and PC Game Pass. On 22, Dodo Duckie will arrive on Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming with those three plans: its gameplay involves switching between 2D and 3D settings to solve puzzles.
Scramble Knights Online will arrive on October 26 in early access and as a day-one release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, on Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming. It offers shared exploration, missions, and dungeons. On 27, it will be The Séance of Blake Manor’s turn, a supernatural investigation set in Ireland in 1897, available on those platforms with Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.
Mouthwashing will also be added on October 29 for Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming with Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass; Xbox also identifies it as optimized for handheld devices. That day, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted will arrive on console, PC, and cloud gaming, and Terrible Lizards on Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming. Both will be included in Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but are not announced for Premium.
The list extends into November 3 with Pit of Goblin, an online co-op horror game that will arrive on Series X|S, PC, and cloud gaming through Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.
Departures to keep in mind
On October 31, the following games will leave the catalog: Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales, and Wildgate. Their departure is announced for cloud, console, and PC, so it’s worth prioritizing them if you have a game in progress.
Additionally, Football Manager 26 for PC and Football Manager 26 – Console Edition will leave on November 10; the latter is available on cloud, console, and PC.
