NVIDIA presented an overview of projects across the French ecosystem bringing artificial intelligence agents into space operations, public services, and telecommunications. The cases show how companies are incorporating this technology into specific tasks, although the performance figures come from the company’s own report, not an independent evaluation.
One of the projects is Altair-1, a satellite that has already reached orbit. Operated by Loft Orbital and built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks, it carries NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin modules and Mistral models for real-time Earth observation and autonomous operations. It is the first of a planned constellation of 50 satellites.
On the ground, ThinkDeep and Akila developed an agent based on a digital twin in Côte-d’Or to manage infrastructure that includes nearly 5,800 kilometers of roads, as well as buildings. NVIDIA attributes a 10% reduction in operating costs to the project; savings of 30% remain a target as deployment progresses.
In telecommunications, Bouygues Telecom and Prisme.ai launched AI Studio V2 so all of the operator’s employees can create their own agents in a controlled environment. Meanwhile, LINAGORA and Docaposte secured a framework agreement that includes Twake.ai, built on NVIDIA Nemotron models, as the reference sovereign digital workplace platform for more than 2,500 French public agencies.
The overview also includes industrial research: L’Oréal uses the open-source NVIDIA ALCHEMI toolkit on its own GPU cluster to evaluate cosmetic formulations through simulation. The stated goal is to accelerate discovery by up to 100 times; this is a project target, not an already substantiated result.
